Tour Highlights
- Malacca was occupied by three countries, namely Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, which left many precious monuments in Malacca. Visitors in Malacca can experience the architectural styles of different countries at once, so taking pictures in monuments in Malacca is like travelling to various European countries at the same time.
In addition to European culture and architecture, Zheng He’s Voyage to the West in Malacca also left behind traces of Chinese culture and Chinese-style architectures, adding a touch of vibrancy to the diverse culture of Malacca. - Tourists visiting the sights of Malacca will feel like they are going back in time, as if they are reliving the glorious past of Malacca.
Racial integration in Malacca has brought about mixed descendants, thus giving way to the Baba Nyonya. Hence, Nyonya culture and cuisine are important treasures of Malaysia. - he best way to know more about a city’s origins is through an elaborate cultural show, such as the Encore Melaka Impression Series. Check out this impressive spectacle when in town by booking through Klook! You’ll get to watch an amazing 70-minute performance by 200 local artists, further heightened by the latest visual and auditory technology. You can also fully immerse yourself in the experience as the auditorium spins in a full 360-degree circle – a recognised feat that holds the show as Southeast Asia’s only rotating auditorium. Enjoy the emotional retelling of the local life stories, blended into traditional and contemporary dance styles that drive audiences to tears. Feel Malacca’s openness and acceptance to diverse cultures as the performances unfold the true essence of the state: a model of peaceful multicultural coexistence.
